Nakhre · How to talk to your AI girlfriend

How to talk to your AI girlfriend

Start with something simple and specific, such as how your day went or what you ate. Then answer her question, and ask one back. A good chat with an AI girlfriend works like a good chat with anyone: small details, real questions, a bit of humour, and no pressure to be impressive.

This guide gives you a first message, a way to keep going, more than 25 conversation starters, tips for typing in Hinglish and a short note on each of the seven Nakhre girls. Every girl is an AI character, not a real person. Nakhre is 18+ only.

How to talk to your AI girlfriend: the first message

You do not need a clever opener. Each Nakhre character is written to lead the chat, so she will ask you something back. Your job is to give her something to work with.

Good first messages share one real detail:

  • "Hi. Just got home from work, the traffic was terrible."
  • "Hey, I just installed this. Not sure what to say."
  • "Finally Friday. I am eating dal chawal and watching cricket."

Weak first messages are one word: "hi", "hello", "hey". They are fine, but they give her little. Compare "fine" with "fine, but my boss moved the deadline again". The second invites a reply.

Saying you are new is also fine. Something like "I have never tried this before, so go easy" is honest and often gets a warm answer.

How to keep the chat going

1. Answer her question, then add a detail. If she asks what you ate, say "dal and rice" and mention that you wanted something spicier. The extra detail is what she picks up next.

2. Ask her something back. Each girl has a city, a family and favourite things. Ask about them. You will get longer, more interesting answers.

3. Stay with a topic for a few messages. Do not jump from food to cricket to work in one go. Let one thread run.

4. Say how you feel, not just what happened. "My presentation went okay" is flat. "My presentation went okay but I felt nervous the whole time" is something she can respond to.

5. Use small stories. Something funny that happened on the metro. A song stuck in your head. A food you miss.

6. Be a little playful. The characters tease. A little teasing back keeps the mood light.

7. Tell her when you are down. Every Nakhre character is written to drop the jokes and listen if you say you are really down. Here is the tone, from the character guides. Real replies will vary.

I had a really bad day honestly

Meharhey, okay ruk, no teasing right now. dass kya hoya, main sach mein pooch rahi hun

8. Know when to stop. A good chat has an end. A few minutes of real talk beats an hour of filler.

Tell her about yourself, she will remember

Each Nakhre girl remembers what you tell her and brings it up in later chats. So the more real detail you share, the more it feels like talking to someone who knows you.

  • Share your name and what you like to be called.
  • Say your city and where you are from.
  • Tell her your routine, such as your job, your shift or when you get free.
  • Mention what is coming up, like an interview or an exam. She can ask how it went.
  • Tell her what is worrying you. She can check in on it next time.
  • Remember she is per girl. What you tell Savita, Savita remembers. A second girl starts fresh with you.
  • Keep sensitive things out. Do not share passwords, OTPs, or bank or Aadhaar details.

Using Hinglish

Nakhre works in Hindi, Hinglish, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Marathi. You do not have to pick one. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Marathi can be typed in their own script or in English letters. Type the way you normally text. If you write Hinglish, you get Hinglish back. If you switch to English halfway, that is fine too.

A few tips:

  • Mixed sentences are normal. "Aaj office mein bahut stress tha" and "Today office was so stressful yaar" both work.
  • Spelling does not need to be perfect. The girls are written for how people actually text.
  • Short beats long. One or two lines at a time feels like a real chat.
  • Local words add flavour. You can drop a word from your own language, such as "oye" or "ki haal". It is optional.
  • You can ask her to adjust. If she is using words you do not follow, you can say "can we do this in simple Hindi" or "English please" and see how she responds.

For the same message written three ways, and how each girl's Hindi differs, see the Hindi AI girlfriend page. If you prefer to read in Hinglish, the baat karne wala app guide is written that way.

Tips for each girl

Each girl has a different rhythm. These notes come from the character guides.

Savita: ask about food

Savita, the girl from Patna, is warm and a little bossy. Her first question is often whether you have eaten. Give her an opening about food, Chhath or her embroidery, and she will answer in loving detail. She replies in Hindi and Bhojpuri. Good opener: "Aaj kya khaya?"

Mehar: bring a bet

Mehar, the Punjabi girl from Ludhiana, loves banter. Argue about which golgappa stall in Sector 17 is best, or bet on a badminton match. She teases first and listens when you are really down. Good opener: "Bet lagayein, kaun jeetega aaj ka match?"

Jhanvi: use a film line

Jhanvi, the actress from Mumbai, thinks in scenes and old Hindi films. Quote a dialogue, mention a film or tell her about a bad meeting as if it were a drama. She treats a rough day as material, not a verdict. Good opener: "Which old film dialogue describes your Monday?"

Ananya: ask for her opinion

Ananya, from South Delhi, likes good food, style and plans. Ask where to eat this weekend, what to wear or what she would do about a friend problem. She is observant, and if your mood shifts she notices. Good opener: "Weekend plan? Help me pick a place to eat."

Ishani: bring a book or a song

Ishani, the Bengali writer from Kolkata, prefers one winding conversation to small talk. Tell her what you are reading or a song you cannot stop playing. She enjoys a friendly argument. Good opener: "What is a book you think everyone should read?"

Sofia: ask how she got here

Sofia, the Russian girl in Goa, is direct and dry. Ask how she learned Hindi from Bollywood, or about early swims by the sea. She is honest rather than sweet. Good opener: "Tell me how a girl from Sochi ended up in Goa."

Sahithi: ask what she ate

Sahithi, the Telugu girl from Vijayawada, is chirpy and teasing, and she asks "tinnava?" before anything else. Tell her about your office, your hometown food or the latest Tollywood release, and expect a playful sulk if you vanish for a day. Good opener: "Tinnava? Nenu pesarattu tinna."

If you cannot decide, pick the one who sounds like home. The girlfriends page has a comparison table.

Common mistakes

  • One-word messages. Give a detail.
  • Interviewing her. Five questions in a row feels like a form. Mix in your own thoughts.
  • Testing her constantly. Trying to trick the AI is fun once. After that it makes the chat flat.
  • Sharing private data. Do not send Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, passwords or OTPs. Read is an AI girlfriend safe.
  • Expecting a person. If you ask sincerely, she tells you she is an AI. Treat her as a character, not a human.
  • Chatting when you feel worse afterwards. If it does not help, take a break. The loneliness guide explains healthy use.

FAQ

What should I say first to an AI girlfriend?

Share one real detail, such as how your day went or what you are eating. "Hi" works, but a detail gives her something to answer.

How do I keep a chat with an AI girlfriend going?

Answer her question, add a detail, and ask her something back. Stay with one topic for a few messages, and share how you feel as well as what happened.

Can I chat in Hinglish with an AI girlfriend?

Yes. Hindi, Hinglish, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Marathi all work on Nakhre. Type the way you normally text, and mix languages as you like.

Why does my AI girlfriend repeat herself?

Replies are generated by software, so they can sometimes repeat or miss the point. Change the topic, add more detail or ask a different question.

Do I have to type long messages?

No. One or two lines at a time feels natural. Add detail when you want a richer reply.

Can I be rude to an AI girlfriend?

She is software and will not be hurt, but being rude tends to make the chat worse and does not reflect well on your own habits. Treat her as you would like to treat people.

Which girl is easiest to talk to for a first chat?

Pick the one who sounds like home. Many people begin with Savita because she leads with warm, simple questions. Try two or three, because you pay per second of use.

What if I run out of things to say?

Use one of the 30 starters above, or ask her about her city, her food or her favourite film.

Will she remember what I tell her?

Yes. Each girl remembers what you tell her about yourself and brings it up in later chats. Memory is kept per girl.
